How to find delicious Cantharellus Cibarius
Cantharellus Cibarius can be found all over the world and is loved by people all over the world and distributed in China. Like the famous truffles and mushrooms, Cantharellus Cibarius has an ectomycorrhizal root fungus that forms a symbiotic relationship with trees, but it is not as rare as truffles and matsutake mushrooms, which are produced in relatively large quantities during the growing season. Golden Chanterelles can be easily spotted by mushroom pickers. They are very popular combined with their delicious flavour.
Chanterelles are also popular on the international market, especially chanterelle mushroom brine on drums. So how do we find Cantharellus Cibarius?
Chanterelles are mycorrhizal, meaning they grow in symbiosis with trees or some other shrubs or plants. Chanterelles sometimes grow with mosses too, but the trees will still be around. Without trees, there would be no Chanterelles. Moss can indicate that some of the Chanterelles may be nearby, although they may not grow in moss, but nearby.
In the early part of the season, which begins at the end of June, they will grow mainly around the eastern white pine, but other trees may be found under a wide variety of trees as the season progresses. Chanterelles can grow in both upland and lowland areas, and can often be found in rain-fed land, or along path edges and dirt roads.
